Chronicle
Every curve of the paisley carries centuries of meaning. On this Semi Tussar silk saree, contemporary paisley patterns flow across the border and palla, set against a striking red and black body. Known as boteh, the teardrop motif traces its roots to ancient Persia and India, where it symbolized fertility, life, eternity, and abundance. Inspired by cypress trees and mangoes, it once adorned royal textiles as a mark of status, later embraced by bohemian movements as a symbol of freedom and rebellion. In Paisley, this rich heritage is reimagined for today — a motif that has traveled through empires, revolutions, and fashion eras, now finding its place in your wardrobe as a timeless emblem of continuity and style.
